Providing safe, reliable drinking water is one of West Memorial MUD's highest priorities—but protecting the facilities that deliver that water is just as important.
To strengthen the security of the District's critical infrastructure, West Memorial MUD has partnered with a professional security company that has installed advanced security systems at our water facilities. These systems provide 24-hour monitoring and surveillance to help safeguard District assets and ensure the continued reliability of your water service.
In addition, West Memorial MUD will soon assume the security contract with the Harris County Constable Precinct 5 for the community. Along with regular neighborhood patrols, deputies will also monitor the District's water facilities and remain alert for any suspicious activity around this critical infrastructure.
